Clare is a registered dietitian and adjunct professor of nutrition at Hunter College who believes that healthy eating should feel achievable, realistic, and even enjoyable.
She earned her Master’s degree in Nutrition from Hunter College and brings a unique background in the arts, allowing her to take a creative and individualized approach when working with patients. Clare has experience helping individuals with a wide range of health concerns, including disordered eating, weight management, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders, and prenatal nutrition. She also has experience supporting pregnant women in achieving healthy pregnancies, delivering healthy babies, and improving their own health throughout the process.
Clare’s approach is both practical and highly personalized. She has particular expertise in helping patients lower cholesterol through targeted dietary changes and lifestyle modification. She utilizes the Lifeways Nutrition Weight Loss Program, which focuses not only on what to eat, but also on how to eat—including eating rate, meal timing, structure, and daily habits—while taking into account each patient’s medical conditions and family health history. Her goal is to bring all of these elements together in a way that is realistic, sustainable, and achievable long term.
Whether you have a busy schedule or ongoing health concerns, Clare works with you to develop a plan that truly fits your life—helping you feel better, gain confidence in your food choices, and build habits that last.
