Dayanna is a dedicated registered dietitian committed to making nutrition accessible to everyone. She earned a B.S. in Dietetics and a B.A. in Dance from the University of Florida, followed by a dietetic internship at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health. She furthered her expertise with an M.S. in Nutrition from Hunter College. At NY Common Pantry, Dayanna provided nutrition education and engaging recipe-making classes to individuals of all ages, from elementary school students to the elderly. She has also delivered nutrition care at the Susan McKinney Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, serving both long-term and subacute patients. Dayanna is passionate about empowering others to embrace nutritious eating and an active lifestyle without compromising their cultural identities or mental well-being.
