C E O, Deborah Cardile MS, CDN, received her Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Hunter College. Graduating summa cum laude, she remained at Hunter as an adjunct professor of nutrition. After leaving academia she specialized mainly in weight loss issues. Her interest grew from her own struggle with this problem. {We have pictures} She is certified by the state of NY (CDN) and is an associate member of The American College of Nutrition and the ADA. Deborah has successfully counseled groups and individuals for the past 25 years.  Most of her clients were obese or overweight. Many had related medical conditions which she become well versed in treating through diet.  She participated in research studies at Bellevue Hospital studying obese-diabetic patients, and at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt studying Colon cancer in obese/overweight patients. She’s worked with such organizations as HIP, United Weight Control (affiliated with St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital), The Comprehensive Lipid Control Center at Rogosin (affiliated with Weil Cornell) and The Hepatobiliary Associates of New York before founding her own practice, Lifeways Nutrition PLLC where she created several health-related programs.
