Elana graduated from Boston University with a B S in Nutritional Sciences. She earned her RD interning at Priority Nutrition Care in Hingham MA, Boro Park Center for Rehab and Nursing in Brooklyn, and Rebekah Extended Care in the Bronx. She completed 1200 supervised hours providing various services involving assessing newly admitted patients and quickly moved on to educating patients on therapeutic diets and counseling them on how to implement them. During this period, she developed a strong appreciation of the power of nutrition to help in treating various illnesses. Taking this experience as a foundation, Elana has gone on to specialize in individual private counseling where she can apply Nutrition Therapy and see the beneficial results of her work.
